As soon as I open the newspaper, I get almost same headlines daily

"SP president sack one minister from UP CM camp"

"UP CM retaliates with sacking some members form cabinet of Prez' camp"

"Chief Patron of SP trying for  conciliation  between son and brother"etc.

This family drama has been going on for a month. The power tussle between uncle and nephew is nowhere leading to their good.

Instead of focusing on coming elections and consolidating the party cadre, the SP is one the verge of splitting into two camps (unofficially this is most evident as we open TV or newspaper) .

In 2012, SP was given a full mandate by UP electors. UP CM started distributing freebies like LAPTOPs  and BEROZGAAR Bhatta form the taxpayers money. Instead , focus should had been on investing on basic infrastructure like roads, electricity, health, education, nutrition etc.

After the May 2014  Lok Sabha elections, SP has veered from its path of negligence to some investment in roads construction and health sector ( other sectors has got little attention).

CM has been able to earn some goodwill of people for his leadership quality  and clean image, but others in his own party have flexed their muscles and  have impressed not so good memories in the electors mind.

As of now other contenders for power have come into fray and they might get some handsome returns from the spillovers of the power tussle in current UP government .

There is lot to say about but I'll conclude the blog with the old story in my mind of "2 fighting monkeys and A cunning cat".
